I never was much of a guitar player, and one month of lessons at the Y isn’t much of a start, but that’s how I got started. From there my friends and I just had to have a band. You know, the kind of noise that drives Parents and neighbors up a wall.
We never did do much more than make a bunch of noise, so after a few years our neighborhood was blissfully quiet, along with our visions of musical fame. By then I knew at least four chords on the guitar (wow), and surprisingly, there’s a lot one can play with three or four chords, so why learn more, right?

So it’s been with my music, and to this day, I don’t think I will ever understand why God would bless me with the ability to put words and music together. Most musicians have more talent in their little finger, than I will ever possess, yet here I am, in the business of writing songs. How awesome is that?

I describe myself as one of the last Rednecks left in California, and while it’s just a joke, it’s probably a little closer to the truth than not. I love to hunt and fish, and I’d much rather lay out in the back of my truck the night before a fishing tournament, than stay at the Hilton ( I’ll bet there’s a song in there somewhere).

So that’s my Bio. I’m a Redneck. I’m not much of a guitar player (or any kind of player, as far as that goes), I write songs anyway, I love to hunt and fish and (I saved the best for last) I love the Lord and my wife and family more than anything.

Thanks for stopping by...
All the Best
