Ellie was only about 1 yr old and this was our first real chance to spend time with her. It was right there that I picked up my guitar and wrote my first song. Since “Ellie’s Song”, I have written many more, but nothing is quite as special as the first song for Ellie.

As time moved on, our friends had a second child, and once again, Patricia and I were privileged to be the godparents. We were there for the birth of Eden Grace, and as the plane took off from Knoxville, back to the West Coast, I started writing “Eden Grace” on a napkin.

So goes my songwriting, like so many others, a reflection of events that surround us all. My songs, both Country and Christian have a Bluesy, Country feel, captured by some of the best musicians in Nashville. My demos are produced at Chelsea Music Group in Brentwood, arguably the best in the business and everyone involved at Chelsea Music go out of their way to make you feel special.
